Fashion Week 2010

Find below some of the designers and collections that are my faveourite for 2010.

Hannah Marshall Spring/Summer 2010

What I love about Hannah Marshall’s Spring/Summer collection is the way that she has embraced the shoulders. Recently we have seen lots of celebrities wearing exaggerated shoulder pads, but I feel that Hannah Marshall has brought a new kind of shoulder pad. All her designs have either heavily emphasises shoulders or are fitted to make the shoulder show importance. I love the fact that we have a fur coat with shoulder pads, the texture of the fur brings a new style to shoulder pads and brings back in fur coats.

Topshop Boutique Spring/Summer 2010

Designer: Karen Bonser

I absoluetly love Topshop Unique Spring/Summer collection! I think this is one of my favourite collections by far. I am so interested in this collection as I can actually see myself wearing certain pieces casually throughout the summer. I love the high platforms and wedges and will definitely be purchasing a new pair.

Mulberry Spring/Summer 2010

Mulberry’s Spring/Summer Collection 2010 is very impressive. I love how the whole collection is so girly and the funfair patterns remind me of my childhood. The use of bright colours are gorgeous and show versatility. Im so proud of the British company. Great use of accessories and props throughout this show, the dogs are so cute and the bags are to die for.
